Rice drink Tips for preparation
Clean the 5L container thoroughly and make it dry. Apply with pot, jar, bottle and etc
Boil the water and leave for one day to apply.
Makkoli drink Alcoholic drinks
Tips for brewing Makgeolli
Pour 1.5L of water into the container and add one pack of Makgeolli to stir well until it gets dissolved well.
Close the lid and keep it in a room temperature.
Tips for saccharification
Stir well morning and night time for 2 days.
When it is in an airy cool place to supply oxygen, yeast gets proliferated effectively.

Tips for fermentation
Stop stirring and leave it for 5 days to get the brilliant Rice Wine.

You may add plum or cornus fruit for your own great taste.

Tips for filtering residue
Ladle the upper part of wine that has 13~15% of alcohol.
To make lower level of alcohol up to 8~10%, you may add 1,500CC of water and stir well. Filter the residue with sieve tray or filter paper.
1. When fermented in process of wine, it rises up to 30% of its amount.
2. The upper part of Makgeolli gets clearer as leaving for longer period.
3. The separation layer can be easily visible as the upper part gets clearer.
4. Then it means the rice wine is well ripe in fermentation and you can mix the well for savouring the rich taste of wine.
Tips for savouring rice wine
Keep it in the fridge for one day and it gives you better taste. When you keep in the fridge, you can refrigerate up to 30 days.

How to make vinegar of Makgeolli
When you savour the rice wine up to two thirds of the amount in the container (alcohol level 6~8%), open the lid and seal with the filter paper and leave it in a room temperature (around 24ºC). Stir once during 2 or 3 days. After 4 week time, it will be an excellent vinegar of Makgeolli.
